Module 12: Episode 7 - Awareness and Appreciation

This meditation invites us into the practice of awareness and appreciation.

We return to the simplest and most essential truth: we are alive. And with each breath—the gift of the trees—the world is beaming with life.

Through the meditation of appreciation, even the tiniest particles of beauty—a flower, the moon, beans growing overnight, a loved one’s smile—become portals to bliss when received through the heart.

Appreciation can also attend to pain, gently opening the layers of hurt that hold the heart hostage, revealing the divine light within.

This teaching reminds us that while we cannot always control what happens in the world or in our minds, we can learn to shift our attention—from overwhelming thoughts to the small, often unnoticed moments of beauty.

We choose where we place our attention. And in choosing appreciation, even for the smallest things, we reconnect to life, to gratitude, and to the deep fullness of being alive.

Stay low to the ground.

Stay close to the earth.

Do not go far from your heart.

It is the little things that reveal why we are here.

It is the simple things that make us whole.
