Peace #6– “Lamed” and the Heart of Peace
This blog explores the second letter of the Hebrew word Shalom—Lamed (ל)—through the lens of Kabbalah. Lamed symbolizes learning, divine wisdom, and the union of mind and heart. In Jewish mysticism, the mind (divine masculine) emanates wisdom, while the heart (divine feminine) receives and shares it.
The Hebrew word Lev (heart) is seen as the vessel of divine inspiration, turning breath into peace and love. Through mindful breathing and heart-centered meditation- heartfulness, we embody peace as a lived experience.
Peace is created moment by moment, breath by breath, heartbeat by heartbeat.
The meditation invites you to practice a meditative mantra—“Shalom… Breath by breath. Heartbeat by heartbeat.”—as a way of realizing that we are the vessel of peace.
