Mind into matter, awareness into life—turning on your light in the darkness
What if the “light” you keep searching for is not outside you—but a spark you can switch on in a single breath? This week’s body scan is an invitation to return to the most intimate relationship you will ever have: your own living presence. When the world feels upside down, we begin again—right here.
· This practice is energetic work: mind entering matter, awareness entering the body—“turning on the light.”
· The “spark” is the moment you return from thoughts into direct sensation; it can happen instantly—no distance, no time.
· The body scan moves through head, throat, shoulders, rib cage, arms, back, belly, pelvis, legs, and feet—sometimes using actual touch, sometimes “touching with the mind.”
· You learn intimacy with pleasant and unpleasant sensations without judging; the differences between left/right sides are natural, and noticing expectations is part of awakening.
