Whether you are arriving excited, curious, or arriving simply because you need somewhere to land — the practice is always the same. Set your intention. Find the breath. Notice the wave. Return to the ocean of awareness. And begin again.
That's the beauty of it. You can always begin again.
You are not only the wave of thought, feeling, or emotion. You are also the oceanic awareness that can hold it. Nothing needs to be pushed away. Nothing is outside of life. The practice is to remember: the wave belongs, and the ocean remains.
Rather than identifying with each wave of thought or feeling, you are invited to rest as the spacious awareness that holds it all.
The session closes with a gentle return to intention, a loving-kindness blessing for all beings, and an encouragement to carry this quality of kind, present attention into the rest of your day.
Perfect for a morning sit, a midday reset, or any moment when the waves feel like too much.
Spiritual life begins where we are most ordinary: breathing, sensing, and resting in the embrace of Earth.
